As a veteran Realtor, Janet Jones envisioned the type of firm she wanted to work for - one that focuses heavily on team work.
This spring, Jones opened Worth Properties LLC and the concept is working as the firm approaches 180 closings and beating her expectations.
"We're two years ahead of expectations," Jones says.
The brainchild of Jones, who serves as president, and chairman Bailey Robinson III, former CEO of Wright Industries, Worth focuses on having an agent-friendly environment.
Today, the firm has 34 real estate agents and five full-time support staff. The company also expanded its office from 6,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet in Burton Hills IV.
Jones says the company hasn't directly recruited agents from other firms, but word of Worth Properties has circulated through local real estate circles with good results.
