Internet auction site QXL Ricardo has become the first UK company to delist from the Nasdaq stock exchange due to the costs associated with Sarbanes-Oxley. The company instructed Shaw Pittman to advise on the delisting.
Following the demise of QXL's regular adviser on listings Brobeck Hale and Dorr, general counsel Tom Parkinson turned to Shaw Pittman for advice ahead of its other corporate adviser Linklaters.
