Rabobank is rolling out its direct banking model in New Zealand, bringing the number of markets in which the Dutch mutual offers internet banking services up to four. It is still, however, some way behind its larger domestic rival ING Group, which has rolled out its ING Direct online banking service to nine markets since 1997 (see page 5).
