Educaid, a nationwide student loan giant, is moving from its longtime home in Sacramento's Cannery Business Park to one building in Rancho Cordova.
Educaid employs about 300 people across the country, with more than 200 in Sacramento. It is the third-largest holder of student loans in the United States and the seventh-largest provider of the loans.
The division, a remnant of the formerly prominent Money Store, is moving from 49,000 square feet spread over five buildings into one 55,000-square-foot building where it can work more efficiently in larger quarters.
The cannery, tucked behind McKinley Park in East Sacramento, is a tree-lined campus built out of a 1927 can factory.
