There is a new and insidious plague that has descended on the Banking Industry. It is called the "Efficiency Expert."
These so-called "Efficiency Experts" are causing banks to suffer needless losses with their recommendations. For example, a bank reported a $4,000.00 loss of cash from their night depository. If the bank had followed proper procedures in the opening of their night depository, which they had followed in the past, the bank would have suffered no loss. However, the "Efficiency Expert" changed the night depository procedures so that the bank no longer could prove that no such deposit was made by the customer.
