Note: Refmin is a Chinese refractory raw material processor and exporter. IM talked to Jack Gao, general manager, about the challenges of the present market
Refmin China Co. Ltd, a privately-owned company registered in Hong Kong, supplies minerals for the refractory, ceramic and foundry industries. These include flake graphite, bauxite, dead burned magnesia (DBM), fused magnesia (FM), silicon carbide, fused alumina (brown, white), chamotte, and silicon carbide. Refmin represents ten major Chinese mines and plants in the refractories industry.
The company, which has offices in Nanjing, Jinan, Hong Kong, Sydney and Los Angeles, is one of the main suppliers for flake graphite from China through its sister company Shandong Deli Trade Development Co. Ltd. Refmin also shares a flake graphite warehouse in Tianjin and a bauxite processing plant in Tianjin.
Refmin's major markets are Australia, Turkey, the USA in addition to Europe, India, Russia, Chinese Taiwan, Egypt, South Africa, and Latin America.
