Retail development continues to creep along the farthest most eastern reaches of Winchester Road in Shelby County.
And a handful of restaurants are the latest additions to the bustling intersection of Winchester and Hacks Cross.
Michael Lightman Realty Co. has closed a deal with McDonald's and a regional, home-cooking, dine-in restaurant company to build restaurants on out-parcels of the 130 acres owned by the Lightman and Levy families.
Michael Lightman Realty Co. is developing a 43,427-square-foot shopping center, which will be called Centennial Village, as well as several thousand square feet of office space on that property.
Michael Lightman says the restaurants will be built next to Costco, on Hacks Cross. Danny Buring of The Shopping Center Group of Tennessee brokered both deals.
