HTML editors and authoring systems are getting ever more complex with new features, interfaces and things to do being added to what is essential a simple program. The growing complexity of HTML and its subsets and Internet developments account for some of this growth but you can't help wondering whether program developers are also to blame. Hotmetal Pro 5 is Softquad's latest all singing and all dancing HTML editor, site manager and major suite. Looking at it the program is certainly very powerful, feature rich and comes complete with its own group of hard-core dedicated users who wax lyrically about its features and soforth.
