Glasgow City Council's printworks has been saved from closure after a buyout by Ricoh Document Management, a subsidiary of Ricoh UK.
RDM's Peter Desmond will travel to Glasgow today (September 3) to meet the workforce, discuss the way forward under Ricoh management, and begin finalising the agreement with the council.
The council inplant has been under threat for the past two years, but the council is now confident its future can be assured.
