Subsidiaries of offshore drilling contractor Tatham Offshore Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week. RIGCO North America and FPS VI are Tatham's units that own all of its operating assets, which include two semisubmersible drilling rigs.
Sources say the two rigs have been idle for some time. Officials with Houston-based Tatham did not return phone calls.
