Rolled Alloys, Temperance, Mich., was founded in 1953 by Paul Goetcheus, a metallurgist and entrepreneur known for his introduction of wrought RA330 alloy as a replacement for cast HT alloy in the commercial heat-treating industry. Since then, the company has enjoyed continuous growth through expansion of alloys offered, markets served and more recently, the acquisition of ATEK Metals in 1993 and Weaver Steel Service in 1998.
From its beginning, Rolled Alloys has been known as a customer-service, technically driven organization. Today, degreed engineers provide technical support in fabrication, welding and alloy application, drawing from a database of application histories spanning 48 years. Solving customer material problems is a daily activity at Rolled Alloys. The company's staff consists of 180 employees worldwide.
