The Rosecrance Griffin Williamson adolescent substance abuse treatment campus opened in 2004 to replace an old campus that was inadequate to meet the expanding program's needs. Fifty acres of woods and farmland were purchased in Rockford, Illinois, for the $14 million, 67,000-sq.-ft. treatment center.
Designed by Larson & Darby, Inc., this inpatiem treatment center needed to provide adequate space for a full continuum of addiction treatment services for adolescents and their families.
