An Ohio man has filed a lawsuit against S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. claiming he developed medical problems after using the company's AllerCare allergy-control products.
The lawsuit was filed Jan. 27 in U.S. Circuit Court in Cleveland, two weeks after the Racine consumer products firm asked retailers to pull two of its AllerCare products off their shelves. It also asks that a judge certify the lawsuit as a class action, allowing other consumers to sign onto the case.
