In addition to the forecasts incorporated by AEIS, the reports generated by the Salesnet system let management see the source of leads that have come in and make better decisions about where to allocate marketing dollars as a result. "We can find out how many leads came from advertising or a trade show," [Tom Brockhaus] says. "Whatever the avenue may be, we're looking at the leads generated, and the sales that occur, and the investments made, to try to get an estimated ROI."
