HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.-- Sears, Roebuck & Co. has reached a settlement with its retirees regarding lawsuits they filed over a reduction in their life insurance benefits.
Details of the settlement reached last week, which involves about 84,000 retirees and must still be approved in federal court, cannot yet be disclosed, said Providence, R.I.-- based solo attorney Peter N.
