An Australian firm has started building the world's largest biodiesel facility in Singapore.
Australian renewable energy company Natural Fuel will develop the US$130 million biodiesel plant over three phases, starting with production capacity of 600,000 tons per year (around 12,000 barrels per day) by end-2007, and rising eventually to 1.8 million tons/yr (35,000 b/d), Chief Executive Richard Selwood said in Singapore Wednesday.
