Singapore is set to reorganize the public healthcare system to better meet Singaporeans’ future healthcare needs.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a news release that three integrated clusters will be formed to conform to the three key shifts in the healthcare system as outlined in the implementation of the Healthcare 2020 Masterplan, the goal of which is to expand capacity, improve quality and enhance affordability of healthcare.
Currently, the country’s public healthcare system is organized into six regional health systems - Alexandra Health System, Eastern Health Alliance, Jurong Health Services, National Healthcare Group, National University Health System and Singapore Health Services.
