SmartTrade beefs up in sales as product head Atkinson departs

Abstract

Liquidity management technology provider smartTrade Technologies has beefed up its global sales team with six recent hires, while Peter Atkinson, head of FX product management, has left the vendor after less than two years. Based in London, Atkinson had been at smartTrade since September 2011, when he joined in a newly created role to focus on preparing and managing the delivery of the vendor's FX hosted products. He joined from HSBC, where he had worked in FX electronic commerce since 2008 and has also worked at Dresdner Kleinwort, Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland.
