Bitdefender succeeds at being both powerful and easy to use. The Professional Plus version includes anti-virus, firewall, anti-spam and anti-phishing tools. The firewall and anti-virus work well, and the virus scanner scans at roughly the same speed as its competitors.
In terms of ease of use, all of the program's features are confined to one application and control window rather than the several found on other programs.
The main window doesn't offer many options, but this avoids confusion and keeps the work that the user has to do to a minimum, without sacrificing any features.
Installation is simple, although Bitdefender doesn't detect and remove the security programs already installed on a PC....
