Description: Spellevator Plus is a tool for teachers and students. It lets teachers use their own spelling lists to generate games that students can play for practice, and it keeps individual and class records. I evaluated the CD-ROM version in this review.

Installation: I had no problem using the CD-ROM on a Macintosh Performa 5215CD with HP DeskWriter 600 printer. Installation Rating: A Content/Features: The opening screen of Spellevator Plus displays a large elevator door on the left. This is where students pick their names from a preprogrammed list. On the right side of the screen is the menu of options. It is large and easy to read: A student can choose to play the game of Spellevator Plus, take the Pretest, take the Posttest, or go for a Workout. Because the game is listed first, students will most likely pick it instead of the less fun but more useful spelling tools their teacher may want them to choose instead. Had...
