Description: Spellevator Plus is a tool for teachers and students. It lets teachers use their own spelling lists to generate games that students can play for practice, and it keeps individual and class records. I evaluated the CD-ROM version in this review.

Installation: I had no problem using the CD-ROM on a Macintosh Performa 5215CD with HP DeskWriter 600 printer. Installation Rating: A Content/Features: The opening screen of Spellevator Plus displays a large elevator door on the left. This is where students pick their names from a preprogrammed list. On the right side of the screen is the menu of options. It is large and easy to read: A student can choose to play the game of Spellevator Plus, take the Pretest, take the Posttest, or go for a Workout. Because the game is listed first, students will most likely pick it instead of the less fun but more useful spelling...
