Robin Carlson has taken the new position of operations manager at the Manfred Real Estate Learning Center, a 16year-old Colonie professional school with plans to increase its reach and visibility in eastern New York's hot real estate markets.
As operations manager, Carlson is responsible not only for dayto-day management of the center, but for marketing and curriculum development. Its a great time to be a real estate school," said Carlson, who has been in real estate for 10 years. "That is why I took the position."
Founded by Bill and Mary Manfred, the school offers the sales licensing course for real estate agents, the broker's course for agents already licensed, the licensing course for real estate appraisers and continuing education courses for all of those as well as assessors. The courses are open to everyone, so a real estate investor could, for example, take an investment property real estate course even if that person had no interest in actually selling property.
