Sprint Corp. announced late last month that it will offer a managed frame relay service specifically for SNA traffic.
The service is part of an overall effort to attract users that currently employ its competitors' leased lines.
The carrier also announced a program that broadly offers network design and analysis, and plots a path for migrating nets to frame relay or Asynchronous Transfer Mode services. Sprint also said it will be giving financial incentives to users concerned that they might not be able to afford the switchover.
