Tottenham Hotspur has announced it is committed to developing a new stadium at Northumberland Park.
The club, which is expected to pump £400m into the new stadium development, issued a statement with Haringey Council pledging to work together to build an iconic new Premier League stadium and associated local infrastructure improvements.
Haringey Council is expected to invest £9 million towards new and improved public spaces, heritage work and environmental improvements in North Tottenham, while the Mayor of London has pledged £18m to the regeneration of the area including £6m for highways and parking improvements and a district-wide heating and power scheme.
