StanChart looks to eclipse rivals in OTC derivatives

Abstract

Standard Chartered has created a new execution, clearing, liquidity and portfolio services business, dubbed Eclipse, as it looks to provide clients with a single service to help them comply with the multiple new requirements in over-the-counter derivatives. The Eclipse team is co-headed by Andrew Sterry in London and Luke Brereton in Singapore, both of whom joined the bank from Citi this year. They report to Neh Thaker, global head of options trading and platforms at Standard Chartered in Singapore.
