Matching technical skills with technical projects, TeckChek simplifies the hiring process.
The mismatch between technical skill sets and IT projects can often cost companies a bundle. Stepping into the breach is TeckChek, a vendor-independent IT proficiency testing service which entered the business in 1998 when it acquired Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Bookman Testing Services Inc.
"Companies are looking for an objective instrument to help them screen candidates for employment," says Alan Epstein, president of Bookman Testing Enterprises, Inc.-creator of TeckChekwhose parent is Knowledge Universe Inc., the company started by ex-Wall Street financier Michael Milken.
