The Idaho Department of Environment Quality acquired 532 undeveloped acres at Tamarack Resort on Oct. 17 to settle an $11.6 million debt in a convoluted saga stretching back more than a decade on the western shores of Lake Cascade.
IDEQ accepted the property immediately south of the partially developed resort from the Tamarack Homeowners Acquisition Co., an entity of the Tamarack Municipal Association (TMA), as the homeowners group is known.
