A Sacramento doctor who works for Sutter medical Group has been disciplined by the state for inappropriate behavior with two female patients.
Dr. Abraham Tekola, a family practice doctor who works on Cadillac Drive, also faces a lawsuit from one of the patients who complained to the Medical Board of California about him.
Tekola's license to practice was revoked by the state, but this action was suspended and he was placed under probation for four years. He must undergo a psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy and have a third party present when with a female patient.
