SunCoke Energy Partners (SXCP) has signed an agreement to acquire 100% ownership of coal handler Kanawha River Terminals (KRT) for $86 million.
SXCP is a wholly owned subsidiary of SunCoke Energy.
KRT is leading provider of metallurgical and thermal coal blending/handling terminal services. It has the capacity to blend and transload more than 30 million tons of coal annually, SunCoke said on Tuesday August 6.
KRT owns four coal-handling facilities in the USA, the largest of which is the Ceredo Terminal on the Ohio River in West Virginia....
