Two prominent telecommunication trade shows, SUPERCOMM and ICA EXPO, will colocate, for the first time, at one huge trade show to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. from March 19 to 23, 1995. Co-sponsored by the 550 manufacturing members of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and the 1100 local exchange carrier members of the United States Telephone Association (USTA), SUPERCOMM will share the spotlight with the International Communications Association ICA), an association of large users of communications equipment and systems, in what is being billed as "SUPERCOMM '95 with ICA EXPO."
The new, expanded forum will allow TIA to showcase its products and services to more people including international delegates, and the vices. Grouping suppliers, buyers, and users under one roof has the potential to result in the formation of prospective alliances and in discussions of common interests and goals.
