THE much-delayed Supreme Petrochem Ltd (SPL) styrene project has been postponed again.
SPL's executive director of finance and corporate affairs, Rakesh Nayyar, told ACN that the company has shelved its plan to set up a 300 000 tonne/year styrene project in Raigad, Maharashtra, India, due to slack demand for styrene in India.
But Nayyar stressed that the company is still keen to set up the styrene unit in the long term.
