Ginger Kent jumped off the fast track in 2002, but not for long and not at the stage when most women opt to spend time at home.
Kent took a "sabbatical" as she puts it to spend time with her daughter, Margaret, now a senior a high school.
"For her entire life, I never took any time off," she said. "If I didn't now, I'd never have any time with her."
Kent had been living the fast-paced corporate life for years, first as president of the U.S. Toy Group for Hasbro Corp., and then as CEO of Reflectcom., a beauty-care Web site majorityowned by Procter & Gamble Co.
