Bayer Industry Services strives to offer individually focused services to start-ups and chemical production investors within the setting of its four integrated chemical parks
WITH A total area of around 1700ha, the Bayer Chemical Parks form Germany's largest chemical park network. Bayer Industry Services (BIS) is the operator, and provides tailor-made services to investors and startup businesses for all aspects of chemical production. The parks offer a host of synergies in the form of an all-encompassing network.
Our integrated chemical park concept enables our partners to concentrate fully on their core businesses. While they are conducting research, development and production, we do the rest with our reliable, swift and valuable service,' explains fiirgen Hinz, chairman of the executive board of BIS.
At the four Bayer Chemical Park sites, of Leverkusen, Dormagen, Krefeld-Uerdingen and Brunsbuttel, over 35 national and international companies already make extensive use of the strategic alliances and variety of services provided by BIS, as do the operational subgroups of Bayer AG, Bayer MaterialScience, Bayer CropScience and Bayer HealthCare, as well as Lanxess. Additional sites are available for investors in WuppertalElberfeld, Walsrode and Bitterfeld.
