Taming the slopes with technology

Abstract

Killington Resort in Vermont is home to a four-season resort covering six mountains. An ongoing civil survey project has enabled Killington to raise its customer safety standards to a new level and improve the maintenance of its operation. Using Autodesk and Softdesk software, Killington has new information, and new trail maps have been produced from the 3D CAD data and are currently being tested on the slopes.
