When Internet-based companies Convey Systems Inc. and WebsiteBiz Inc. realized how much they offered each other, they formed a partnership that kept the companies separate but pooled their resources.
By teaming up, Convey Chief Executive Gary Pierotti and WebsiteBiz CEO Eric Dudley found they could expand their reach in an economy that's forcing many businesses to contract.
"The economy's driven it," Pierotti says. "Resources are not so much limited as they are very precious."
