Tekelec (NASDAQ/NM:TKLC), Morrisville, N.C., has expanded the EAGLE STP (Signaling Transfer Point) database capabilities by adding 800 service to its existing platform.
Tel-Save Holdings Inc., a rapidly growing interexchange carrier based in New Hope, Pa., will be the First Office Application (FOA) site when the upgrade is performed in first quarter 1998. In developing 800 service, Tekelec takes advantage of EAGLE's massively parallel processing architecture to provide integrated database capabilities on the STP.
