Tenet-owned e-commerce site named Broadlane, Ricker appointed COO

Tenet Healthcare Corp., Santa Barbara, Calif., has taken another step in putting its $3 billion BuyPower contract portfolio on a Web site it co-owns with a Silicon Valleybased e-commerce giant.

In fate February, Tenet and Mountain View, Calif.based Ventro Corp, gave the joint Internet project a name: Broadlane Inc. at www.broadlane.com.
