Coming soon to a movie theater near you: cold beer.

That's the goal of Austin, Texas-based Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas, which has announced plans to bring franchises to Colorado.

Alamo Drafthouse CEO Terrell Braly confirmed that he's negotiating a territory development deal for Colorado that could be finalized within two weeks. The would-be franchisee has identified Fort Collins, Greeley, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Metro Denver has primary markets for the unique theater concept.
