Killing Bono
It's not just the title of this film that appeals. Killing Bono tells the amusing story of the rock critic Neil McCormick and his self-confessed " Nf e as a failed rock star" . For those not familiar with the McCormick tale, as a schoolboy in 70s Dublin, he and his brother Ivan attempted to I become global rock stars with their band Shook Up. However, they find themselves competing against some old school friends who form the rival U2. They have to look on as U2 become the biggest band in the world. The film, which stars the late Pete Postlethwaite, opens on Friday.
