This Honesdale shop is the Cat's Pajamas

A Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting was held in Honesdale on August 16 for The Cat's Pajama's, 107 8th Street, just below CVS/pharmacy. The Cat's Pajamas is a thrift shop benefiting the Olga & Dorothea Dessin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Dessin Animal Shelter.) It provides nearly 35 percent of the shelter's operating costs and is run almost entirely by volunteers. The goal is to provide 50 percent of the animal shelter's operating costs. The thrift shop is stocked entirely by donations, and new, quality items can be found on the shelves every day.
