TMW Systems Inc., a Beachwood company that makes software to help trucking companies improve their productivity, is sharing in the transportation industry's rebound due to the improving economy and has increased employment nearly 20% so far this year.
Since Jan. 1, the company has added 23 people, raising total employment to about 140, said Tom M. Weisz, president and CEO of TMW. The new employees include software developers and support staffers, as well as a new vice president of systems architecture, Bill Keen, and a new director of marketing, Cindy Nelson.
Mr. Weisz said revenues were up 40% in the first quarter of 2004 compared with the like period a year ago, though he would not disclose specific numbers. The...
