This ranking is based on responses to NRETs Top Brokerage survey, which was conducted via e-mail in February and March 2009. Brokers were asked to provide the total dollar value of leasing transactions and investment sales globally in 2008. The totals were combined to determine the company's ranking. Editor's Note: Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, which ranked No. 15 in last year's survey, chose not to participate this year.
