Toyo Seat USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyo Seat Co., Ltd. in Hiroshima, Japan, has selected Flemingsburg as the site of its new manufacturing facility. The plant will be located in the Flemingsburg Industrial Park.
The plant will eventually employ more than 100 people and production start up is scheduled for July of 1997.
The facility will design and manufacture automotive seat tracks, seat frames, latches and other seating hardware.
Production methods include state-of-the-art design, vital stamping and assembly systems using robotics and conventional methods. The...
