BOULDER-In the heart of the travel industry lies a travel agency that influences both cultural experience and environmental and community preservation.
Asia Transpacific Journeys, a Boulder-based company, offers its customers a variety of travel experiences and also gives back to the communities that it provides travel services to.
Asia Transpacific Journeys provides trips to 20 countries in the Asia Pacific region including Australia and New Zealand. Each trip can be customized to fit the needs of both group and individual travel.
"There are two different aspects of our organization - for profit and nonprofit," said Marilyn Downing Staff, founder and president of Asia Transpacific Journeys.
By for profit she means Asia Transpacific Journeys, and by nonprofit she means the Asia Transpacific Foundation. Asia Transpacific Foundation is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to health, educational and other projects that benefit the disadvantaged youth and its communities in Asia.
