CM COVER STORY
THE MANAGING director of Turners (Soham) says a report into the events that led to a tanker crashing through the stem door of a ferry and landing in port water is being disputed by the driver.
An investigation by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) found the driver had not applied the brakes and left the articulated tanker out of gear before the Stena Line ferry sailed out of Loch Ryan in Scotland in January (see CM 5 February).
