He, the People publisher and president of Time Inc.'s People-flagshipped Style & Entertainment Group, is a a 1986 graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in telecommunications. She, InStyle's executive director of American fashion and retail (meaning that Caine is the boss of her boss: IS publisher Connie Anne Phillips) is a 1998 IU grad with a degree in apparel merchandising. Both were honored Friday (October 15) in Bloomington by the university's College of Arts and Sciences as distinguished alumnus and distinguished young alumna, respectively. All part of IU's homecoming weekend culminated by the October 17 football game against Arkansas State.
