UniTrader Preps eSignal FX, CFD Data

Abstract

Online broker and trading technology provider Boston Merchant Financial (BMFN) and software developer Boston UniSoft Technologies have struck a deal with Interactive Data's eSignal data desktop business -- part of the vendor's Interactive Data Desktop Solutions division -- to provide access to Interactive Data's data network via the UniTrader foreign exchange and contracts for difference trading platform, a joint venture between BMFN and Boston UniSoft. In terms of licensing, BMFN managing director Paul Belogour says the access deal gives market makers using UniTrader a legal framework for providing CFD data to clients.
