Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery, Kent
Taking pride of place in the town centre, the Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery reopened in March 2012 following a pounds 3m refurbishment. It offers a range of conference and meeting facilities for up to 100 delegates.
A faceliftto the south-east corner of the venue, which comprises a mix of 16th, 19th and 20th-century buildings, included The 30m2 Glass Room, which can host up to 35 delegates for a reception. Delegate day rates are available on request. A PA system and projectors, plus refreshments and catering, are available for all events at an extra cost.

Ashwells Sports and Country Club, Brentwood, Essex
Family-run Ashwells Sports & Country Club specialises in bespoke corporate event management and can cater for up to 150 delegates for seated events and up to 250 delegates for outdoors events in its grounds. Its newly refurbished clubhouse holds 300 delegates.
Facilities at the Brentwood venue include wi-fi-enabled conference rooms, sports activities, a spa area and a restaurant.
Recent events include an It's a Knockout-style team-building day for investment bank Credit Suisse.
Day delegate rates start at pounds 25, which includes room hire and equipment, plus refreshments and lunch. Projectors are available for hire for pounds 25.
