Building on existing marketing relationships between Verizon Communications (VZ) and Microsoft (MSFT), the companies announced a co-branded MSN-enhanced DSL service they will roll out to Verizon customers next year. "Verizon OnLine DSL with MSN" will offer access to MSN-specific content following a souped-up version of the MSN service scheduled for later this year. MSN's strategy with this collaboration is (as always) to threaten AOL's (AOL) supremacy in the low-end, mass market access segment.
