Ward Corp. earns preferred supplier award from Cummins

The Ward Corp., Fort Wayne, IN, received the Cummins Engine Co.'s Preferred Supplier Award during a brief ceremony at Ward corporation headquarters. According to Cummins' representatives, less than 15% of its supplier base worldwide have achieved this certification level. The Ward Corp., which consists of Ward Aluminum Casting Inc., Ward Pattern & Engineering Inc., Ward Production Machine, Ward Heat Treating and Tracon Warehouse Div., is approximately one of 175 suppliers to receive this distinction which requires an unanimous vote by all Cummins divisions.
