EDMONTON-While it is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest indoor shopping mall in the world, West Edmonton Mall has never had a major grocery anchor. So when Richmond, B.C.-based T&T Supermarkets enquired about leasing space in the $12-billion landmark, mall managers took notice. Not only did they welcome the Oriental grocery chain into the mall but also developed an entirely new theme street, called Chinatown, to complement the grocer's Asian offerings.
